The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be streamed live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the pair met personally to build hype for next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou rejected a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, criticized UK opponent Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the television network - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As both boxers met for the traditional face-off, with their size difference on show, it emphasized just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the match is actually proceeding.
