Vehicles in German City Found Covered with Swastikas in Blood, Police State

Officers reported they were notified by a resident who noticed a automobile in Hanau covered with reddish liquid

Approximately 50 vehicles have been marked with what appears to be human bodily fluid in the German municipality of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, as reported by authorities.

Vehicles, building surfaces and mailboxes were vandalized, sometimes with swastikas, they stated in a statement.

Law enforcement state they were alerted late on Wednesday night, when a resident discovered that a vehicle in the Lamboy district of Hanau had been smeared with a red-colored fluid.

The liquid had been placed in the shape of a swastika, they reported.

Officers then found multiple other vandalized vehicles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

Swastikas are illegal in Germany under regulations banning the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Officials state early analysis suggest the liquid was most likely blood from a person.

"Currently there is no clue as to its source; authorities are currently not cognizant of any injuries in connection with the occurrence," they commented.

Municipal representatives announced they were trying "to unravel the case" and have requested to the residents for details.

A high-ranking official said the attack made him speechless and had to be resolved promptly.

"This event affects the center of Hanau and reopens the pain of the extremist violent incident half a decade ago," he stated on social media, recalling the killing of nine people by a shooter focusing on people of immigrant origin in February 2020.
